 Specialty Show & Temperament Test

​​​Mark your calendars! The Hovawart Club of North America will be holding our Annual Fall Specialty Show and Temperament Test.

Marie Buckingham, our host, operates a dog sport facility called The Gated Dock. There, dogs and their owners can learn dock sports, obedience, Fast Cat, Barn Hunt, and other excellent sports.  If you are coming with a camper or an RV, Marie has room for you. There are no hookups, but you can run a generator. Additionally, Shelby and nearby Mansfield have many hotels that are pet friendly. VRBO and AirBnB are, of course, there too.

Marie has a 2.5 year old Hovi from ex Horto Albo in Slovenia.

We are especially excited for the opportunity for so much sport and training we can have here.
