All approved HCNA breedings are in accordance with the HCNA breeding regulations. For further information contact the Breeding Director.

The HCNA sets high standards for breeding. The Breeding Director and the Breeding Committee oversee and approve all HCNA breedings.

The main goal of the Breeding committee and regulations is to reduce the occurrence of hereditary diseases, such as hip dysplasia and hypothyroidism. In considering approval of any breeding, the Breeding Committee completes a thorough analysis of all the physical characteristics of the breeding pairs as well as an analysis of their health and behavioral history of several generations back of the dogs of interest.

If you would like to receive further information on the HCNA Breeding Program or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Breeding Director.
